The Minnesota Dental Association is sponsoring this statewide outreach effort, called GIVE KIDS A SMILE because dentists are committed to providing all children with dental care and helping eliminate barriers to care throughout Minnesota.
The American Dental Association (ADA) launched the Give Kids A Smile program nationally in 2003 as a way for dentists to join with others in the community to provide dental services to underserved children. Each year, about 350,000 to 400,000 children benefit from more than 1,500 events, all because of the efforts of 40,000 or more annual volunteers nationwide.
Rice Regional Dental Clinic would like to thank the following community partners: West Central Interpreting Services, Minnesota Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Hygienists’ Association – Component 3, American Dental Association, United Way, Rice Regional Dental Clinic, volunteer dentists, hygienists, assistants, office staff, public health nurses.
The Minnesota Dental Association is the voice of dentistry in Minnesota, representing 78% of practicing dentists. It is committed to the highest standards of oral health and access to care for all Minnesotans. Learn more at www.mndental.org.
