You may choose to support an established program with your designated gift. The Foundation maintains numerous funds and endowments established to meet specific areas of needs. Gifts given to the Rice Health Foundation without restrictions will be used to fund areas of greatest need throughout the Rice Organization.
Caring for Children Endowment – Supports resources for children during their hospital stay, new technology, equipment, and specialized training for staff who care for infants and children.
Hans Dahl Education Endowment – Supports educational programs and resources for Rice employees.

Sue Leukam Memorial Endowment – Supports an annual scholarship to students pursuing healthcare careers in the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa school district.
Carris Health Regional Education Endowed Fund – Established to support education, recruitment, and retention of medical professionals.
Behavioral Health Fund – Provides programs and services that support behavioral health care (example: weighted blankets).
Cancer Care Fund – Provides support for people experiencing cancer (gas cards, wigs, group support, and complementary therapies).
Dental Clinic Fund – Supplements operations of Rice Regional Dental Clinic, and provides oral care as well as education services to people of all ages who are uninsured and underserved.
Dialysis Fund – Provides educational resources, nutrition supplements, transportation, and other services for dialysis patients and their caregivers.
Emergency Services Fund – Provides new equipment and advanced staff training in emergency care.
Heart & Lung Health Fund – Provides scholarships, education, and equipment for patients going through pulmonary and cardiac rehabilitation.
Hospice Fund – Rice Hospice, with satellites in Benson, Dawson, Granite Falls, Montevideo, Ortonville/Graceville, and Appleton, provides on-call “around the clock” on-call nursing care, trained volunteer services, complementary therapies and supportive services to terminally-ill patients and their caregivers. Pet Therapy Fund – Hospice therapy dogs provide comfort, support, and animal companionship to hospice patients and their families.
Sentimental Journey Fund – Assistance for Hospice patients to visit people, places, and memories one last time, before they pass away.
We Honor Vets Fund – Program to meet the unique needs of America’s veterans receiving Hospice care.

Rehabilitation Fund – Provides scholarships, education, and equipment for patients going through physical, occupational, and speech rehabilitation.
Rice Care Center – Improves and enhances the health and well-being of the residents.
Willmar Ambulance Fund – Provides new equipment and advanced staff training.
Endowments – Donor funds invested, of which the principal investment cannot be spent.
